Gammell led the club to back-to-back New England Intercollegiate Golf Association (NEIGA) Div. III Championship in 2015 and 2016.

He received the NEIGA's Gordon McCullough Award, signifying him as the top college golf coach in New England in 2017. Gammell was selected as the GNAC Men's Golf Coach of the Year five straight seasons from 2011-15.
