Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College sophomore Ethan Clegg (Chepachet, R.I.) was named the Little East Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance in a 4-3 win over UMass Boston on April 4.
 
Clegg paired with classmate James McShane (Riverside, R.I.) for a 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles and won in straight sets (6-3, 6-0) at second singles as the Anchormen edged UMass Boston, 4-3.
 
For the season, Clegg is 6-1 at primarily No. 2 singles and 5-2 at primarily second doubles.
 
Head Coach Adam Spring's team is 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Little East.
 
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will resume Little East play at home vs. Western Connecticut on Wednesday, April 15 (3:30 p.m.).
