Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman guard Noe Bom (Hamburg, Germany) was named the Little East Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for his performance in an 2-0 week for the Anchormen.
It is the second time this season that Bom has earned this award.
He had 14 points, two assists and a block in a 113-73 win over Bridgewater State on Nov. 25. Bom contributed 12 points, eight boards, four assists and four steals in a 70-63 win vs. Williams on Nov. 30.
Bom has played in seven games, starting all of them. He is averaging 16.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.6 apg and 1.1 spg.
Head Coach Sam Ferry's team is 4-3 overall.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will open Little East play at home vs. UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday, Dec. 3 (7:30 p.m.).
