Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman guard Noe Bom (Hamburg, Germany) was named the Little East Men's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for his performance in an 0-2 week for the Anchormen.

He shot 76 percent (16-for-21) from the field and averaged 20.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 4.5 apg and 1.5 spg on the week. Bom had 17 points, five boards and six assists in an 80-76 loss at Brandeis on Nov. 18. He posted 24 points, one rebounds, three assists and three steals in an 80-76 setback at Salve Regina on Nov. 22.

Bom has played in five games, starting all of them. He is averaging 18.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg and 3.8 apg.

Head Coach Sam Ferry's team is 2-3 overall.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will host Bridgewater State on Tuesday, Nov. 25 (7:30 p.m.).
