Box Score Auburndale, Fla.--Freshman pitcher Seth Daly (Riverside, RI) threw 7.2 innings, allowing one run, three hits and four strikeouts as the Rhode Island College baseball team defeated North Park, 3-1, at Lake Myrtle Sports Complex Field 7 on Monday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• North Park broke the scoreless tie in the top of the third when senior shortstop Jake Reinhardt (Princeton, IL) hit a liner to left field that scored a runner from first.
• The Anchormen got on the board in the eighth inning when the bases were loaded and senior shortstop Rommy Morel (Providence, RI) drew a walk to score freshman first basemen John Willette (Johnston, RI). Senior center fielder Josh Silva (Seekonk, MA) drew another walk on the following at-bat to give the Anchormen a 2-1 lead.
• Another run crossed the plate on a junior right fielder Nick D'Ambra (Coventry, RI) base on balls to score sophomore left fielder Joey Coro (North Providence, RI) to put the Anchormen up by a pair, 3-1.
• Junior pitcher Jake Rockefeller (Cumberland, RI) recorded a four-out save to secure the fourth victory of the season for the Anchormen.
• NPU freshman pitcher Bobby Bartlett (Winfield, IL) pitched 6.1 scoreless innings, striking out five and allowing just five hits in a no decision.
