Â
• The Anchormen tried making a rally in the sixth and seventh frames as Gallagher brought in two runs with a double and junior center fielder
Eric Wilson (Middletown, Conn.) brought in one run with a single to trim the deficit to three, 9-6, but the Bears held the hosts at bay for the remainder of the contest.

• With runners on second and third with two down in the seventh, the Anchormen were an inch away from tying the game, but a diving catch sealed the sweep and spoiled the Anchormen's senior day.
