HOW IT HAPPENED
• The hosts opened with a four-run inning to set the tone, but the Anchormen responded as senior right fielder
CJ Almagno (North Providence, R.I.) hit a three-run blast in the third frame which helped put the visitors up by three, 7-4.

• The Lyons tied it back up at seven apiece with two tallies in the bottom half of the third and then took the lead by three, 10-7, after their own three-run homer in the fourth.Â

• Wheaton really broke the game open during the bottom half of the fifth as four runs came across to double up the Anchormen, 14-7.

• The Anchormen made a move in the eighth as freshman catcher
Brady Zadora (Dayville, Conn.) notched an RBI to cut the deficit, 14-10.

• The Lyons used a five-run bottom of the eighth to increase their advantage, 19-10. Almagno knocked in two as part of a three-run ninth.
