Aiden Bolwell (Chepachet, R.I.) went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI and a run scored as Rhode Island College defeated UMass Dartmouth, 13-10, at Pontarelli Field on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Despite two runs over the first two innings from the visitors, the Anchormen took a 3-2 lead in the third as senior designated hitter
Sean Gallagher (Warwick, R.I.) notched an RBI double.
• Bolwell singled to right, which brought in a run in the fourth, as RIC extended its lead to three, 5-2.
• The Corsairs caught fire with a three-run homer and tied the game at five apiece in the sixth stanza, but junior shortstop
Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.) and Bolwell each brought in a run to retake the lead for the hosts, 7-5.
• A pair of runs from the visitors tied it back up until freshman third baseman
Finn Boyle (Washington, D.C.) brought in three runs with a bases-clearing double to put RIC ahead for the rest of the game in the seventh.
• A Corsair comeback fell short in the top half of the eighth as senior pitcher
Calvin Battersby (West Warwick, R.I.) ended the threat and hurled a scoreless ninth to notch the save (1).

Cameron Laramee (Pascoag, R.I.) came away with the win (3-1).
• Boyle went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and five RBI.
