Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman
Mia Crudale (Cranston, R.I.) was named the Little East Softball Pitcher of the Week for her performance in a 3-1 week for the Anchorwomen. It is the second time this spring that she has received this award.
Crudale appeared in two games, starting both of them. She went 2-0 with a 0.58 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 12.0 innings of work. Crudale went the distance, allowing just one run on three hits, and struck out seven in a pivotal, 2-1, win at Eastern Connecticut on April 21. She allowed one unearned run on five hits and struck out four as RIC blasted Keene State, 10-1 (five innings), on April 25.
For the season, she has appeared in 17 games, starting 10 of them. Crudale is 12-1 with a 2.86 ERA and 56 strikeouts in 88.0 innings of work.

Lauren Hatfield's team is 22-10 overall and 7-5 in the Little East.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will continue Little East action with a doubleheader at Southern Maine on Tuesday, April 28 (4 p.m.).
