Xavier Mendez (Pawtucket, R.I.) and freshman guard
Noe Bom (Hamburg, Germany) were recognized by the Little East for their respective performances in men's basketball during the 2025-26 season.
Mendez was named Second Team All-Little East. He played in 26 games, starting all of them. Mendez averaged 16.9 ppg, 9.0 rpg, 2.0 apg and 1.2 spg. He reached double-figures in scoring in all but two games this winter, while hauling in 10 or more rebounds on nine occasions. Mendez had 21 points, 21 rebounds, five assists, one block and a steal in a 74-68 loss vs. Southern Maine on Feb. 4. Mendez registered 27 points and 14 rebounds in a 99-92 win at Eastern Connecticut on Jan. 21. He posted 24 points, 11 boards and four assists in an 87-63 win vs. UMass Dartmouth on Dec. 3. Mendez was named the Little East Player of the Week twice on the season.
Bom was named the Little East Men's Basketball Rookie of the Year. He played in 24 games, starting all of them. Bom averaged 12.6 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 3.0 apg and 1.0 spg. He racked up 24 points, three assists and three steals in an 80-76 loss at Salve Regina on Nov. 22. Bom registered 22 points in his collegiate debut, a 91-81 win at Nichols on Nov. 7. He recorded 20 points, two boards and two steals in a 99-92 win at Eastern Connecticut on Jan. 21. Bom was named the Little East Player of the Week once and the Rookie of the Week on five occasions during the '25-26 campaign.

Sam Ferry's team finished the 2025-26 season with an 11-15 overall record and a 7-9 (sixth place tie) in the Little East.
No. 6-seeded Rhode Island College saw its season come to an end in a 101-81 setback at No. 3-seeded Keene State in the first round of the 2026 Little East Men's Basketball Championship on Feb. 25.
