Loudon Chupas (Colchester, Conn.) registered 13 points, six rebounds and five steals as Rhode Island College fell vs. Keene State, 90-69, at Spaulding Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Owls were able to build a double-digit lead, 23-11, on the Anchormen halfway through the first half before the visitors were able to bring their deficit down to six, 36-30.
• The hosts ended the half on an 8-0 run, putting them ahead by 14, 44-30, at the break.
• KSC pushed its lead to 20, 62-42, with 13 minutes remaining and never gave the visitors a chance to grab any momentum.
• Senior guard
CJ Wilson (Hartford, Conn.) knocked down a free throw to put the Anchormen down by 12, 72-60, with six minutes left to play.
• RIC was not able to close the gap any further as the Owls secured the season-sweep of the Anchormen.
• Wilson posted 13 points, seven boards and three assists.
• Junior guard
Xavier Mendez (Pawtucket, R.I.) recorded 16 points, nine boards and a pair of blocks.
