Providence, R.I.—Twenty-one Rhode Island College student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 Little East Conference Winter All-Academic team as announced by the league office. 
 
Student-athletes earned recognition on the all-academic teams based on the following criteria: at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.3. The conference office honored student-athletes in the following sports that RIC sponsors: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's track & field and women's swimming.
 
The following student-athletes were recognized:
 
Men's Basketball: Senior Loudon Chupas (Colchester, Conn.) and junior Mike Paquette (Cranston, R.I.).
 
Women's Basketball: Sophomore Naima Bleou (Worcester, Mass.), junior Meagan Schuermann (Cooperstown, N.Y.), junior Emma Tenters (Jaffrey, N.H.) and sophomore Jaina Yekelchik (North Scituate, R.I.)
 
Women's Swimming: Junior Kate Clayman (Smithfield, R.I.), junior Joanmarie Joly (Pawtucket, R.I.), sophomore Meghan McCann (Pawtucket, R.I.),  senior Morgan McCann (Pawtucket, R.I.), freshman Lydia Paul (Lincoln, R.I.) and sophomore Taryn Reed (Pascoag, R.I.).
 
Men's Track and Field: Senior Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.), sophomore Younton Doe (Pawtucket, R.I.), sophomore Aidan Fitzgerald (Cumberland, R.I.), sophomore Owen Schenck (Warren, R.I.) and junior Trevor Morgan (Smithfield, R.I.).
 
Women's Track and Field: Sophomore Grace Lane (North Smithfield, R.I.), sophomore Funmilayo Mclin (Providence, R.I.), sophomore Mariangely Rodriguez (Providence, R.I.) and junior Lexie Zakrzewski (Taunton, Mass.).
