Anchorwomen Compete at N.E. Div. III Championship

Boston, Mass.--Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) earned All-New England honors as the Rhode Island College women's track and field team competed at the 2026 N.E. Div. III Championships held at the Track at New Balance on Saturday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College finished 28th (33 teams) with a team score of 5.0. Tufts won the championship with a team score of 112.0.
 
THE TOP PERFORMERS
• Oliver finished fourth and broke the school record in the 3,000m (9:49.18).
 
• Freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) finished 10th in the 4x400m relay (4:01.35) and 14th in the 400m (58.63).
 
• Sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) finished 10th in the 4x400m relay (4:01.35) and 13th in the 200m (25.85).
 
• Sophomore Bendu Kamara (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished 10th in the 4x400m relay (4:01.35).

• Freshman Aaliyah Barbour-Chamble (Providence, R.I.) finished 10th in the 4x400m relay (4:01.35) and 20th in the 400m (1:00.46).
 
WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2026 NEICAAA Championship, held at the Reggie Lewis Center on Friday, March 6 (10 a.m.).
