Six Anchorwomen Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

Providence, R.I.—Six members of the Rhode Island College women's track and field team were named All-Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their respective performances during the 2026 outdoor campaign.
 
Freshman Aaliyah Barbour-Chamble (Providence, R.I.) was named All-Region in the 4x400m relay. She earned All-New England honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.48) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 1-2.
 
Sophomore Bendu Kamara (Pawtucket, R.I.) was named All-Region in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. She earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44) at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9. Kamara earned All-New England honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.48) and a fourth place finish in the 4x400m relay (4:05.51) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 1-2. She earned First Team All-Little East honors with a first place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.10), earned Second Team All-Little East honors with a second place finish in the 4x400m relay (4:00.99) and earned Third Team All-Little East honors with third place finish in the 200m (26.05) at the Little East Championship on April 25.
 
Freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) was named All-Region in the 400m and in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. She earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44) at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9. Noriega earned All-New England honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.48) and a fourth place finish in the 4x400m relay (4:05.51) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 1-2. She earned First Team All-Little East honors with first place finishes in both the 400m (57.28) and 4x100m relay (48.10) and earned Second Team All-Little East honors with a second place finish in the 4x400m relay (4:00.99) at the Little East Championship on April 25. Noriega was also a Little East All-Rookie Team honoree in the 400m.
 
Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) was named All-Region in the 10,000m. She finished 20th in the 10,000m (36.31.76) at the NCAA Div. III Championship on May 21. Oliver earned All-NEICAAA honors with a first place finish in the 10,000m (36:33.17) at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9. She earned First Team All-Little East honors in both the 1,500m (4:44.82) and 5,000m (17:58.29) and Second Team All-Little East honors with a second place finish in the 800m (2:19.92) at the Little East Championship on April 25.
 
Sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) was named All-Region in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. She earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (49.44) at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9. Pezza earned All-New England honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.48) and a fourth place finish in the 4x400m relay (4:05.51) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 1-2. She earned First Team All-Little East honors with a first place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.10), earned Second Team All-East honors with second place finishes in both the 200m (25.63) and 4x400m relay (4:00.99) and Third Team All-Little East honors with a third place in the 100m (12.43) at the Little East Championship on April 25.
 
Freshman Maire Scanlon (Rocky Hill, Conn.) was named All-Region in the 4x100m relay. She earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place finish in the 4x100m relay (49.44) at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9. Scanlon earned First Team All-Little East honors with a first place finish in the 4x100m relay (48.10) at the Little East Championship on April 25.
 
Head Coach Timothy Rudd's team finished fourth at the Little East Championship on April 25, tied for 29th at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 1-2 and 15th at the NEICAAA Championship on May 8-9.
