Haley Oliver Wins 10,000m Title at NEICAAA Championship

Easton, Mass.--Senior Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) earned All-NEICAAA honors by capturing the 10,000m individual title at the 2026 NEICAAA Women's Outdoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Stonehill on Friday and Saturday.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchorwomen finished 15th (23 teams) with a team score of 14.0. The University of Rhode Island took home the title with a team score of 186.5.
 
THE TOP PERFORMERS
• Oliver took home first place in the 10,000m (36:33.17) for the first time in her career as she earned All-NEICAAA honors.
 
• Freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44). She also finished 10th in the 400m (58.85).
 
• Sophomore Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44). She also finished 14th in the 200m (26.30).
 
• Sophomore Bendu Kamara (Pawtucket, R.I.) earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44). She also finished 11th in the 200m (25.82).

• Freshman Maire Scanlon (Rocky Hill, Conn.) earned All-NEICAAA honors with a fifth place in the 4x100m relay (49.44). She also finished 10th in the long jump (5.12m).
 
WHAT'S NEXT
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the 2026 MIT Final Qualifier on Thursday, May 14.
