Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College junior goalkeeper Elhadji Ndoye (Cranston, R.I.) and freshman midfielder Julian Orellana (Providence, R.I.) were recognized by the Little East for their respective performances in the Anchormen's, 1-1, tie with Roger Williams on Sept. 2.
Nodye was named the Little East Men's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week. He made seven saves in the draw. For the season, Nodye has played one game. He is 0-0-1 with a 1.00 goals-against average, seven saves and a .875 save percentage.
Orellana was named the Little East Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the second consecutive week. He scored the club's lone goal on a penalty kick in the tie with the Hawks. He has played in two games, starting both of them. Orellana has two goals and one assist for five points.
Head Coach Kyle Froberg's team is 0-0-2 on the season.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play at Clark on Wednesday, Sept. 10 (7 p.m.).
