2024 Rhode Island College Women's Tennis Season Summary

Providence, R.I--Head Coach Adam Spring's (Career record: 171-32; .842) team posted a 15-2 overall record and a 7-1 (second place) mark in Little East play.
 
The No.2-seeded Anchorwomen defeated No.3-seeded Bridgwater State University, 5-0, in the semifinals of the 2024 Little East Championship on Oct. 17 before falling to No.1-seeded UMass Boston, 5-1, in the finals on Oct. 19.
 
Fifth-year Lauren Macera (Cranston, R.I.) closed out her career with a 47-11 (.810) career singles record and a 50-11 (.819) career doubles record for 72.0 career points.
 
As a fifth-year in 2024, Macera was named First Team All-Little East in singles and Second Team All-Little East in doubles. Freshman Haylie Peacock (West Gardiner, Maine) was named the 2024 Little East Women's Tennis Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-Little East in both singles and doubles.
