Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College freshman guard Noe Bom (Hamburg, Germany) was named the Little East Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week for his performance in an 2-0 week for the Anchormen.
It is the third time this season that Bom has earned this award.
He had 17 points, four rebounds and four assists in an 87-63 win vs. UMass Dartmouth on Dec. 3.
Bom has played in eight games, starting all of them. He is averaging 16.9 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.6 apg and 1.0 spg.
Head Coach Sam Ferry's team is 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the Little East.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will continue Little East play at home vs. VTSU Castleton on Saturday, Dec. 13 (2 p.m.).
