Dartmouth, Mass.--Junior Benjamin Lockwood (Saunderstown, R.I.) placed 20^th (26:54.13) as Rhode Island College finished sixth (nine teams) at the 2024 Little East Men's Cross Country Championship, hosted by UMass Dartmouth on Saturday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• RIC finished sixth (nine teams) with a team score of 169. Keene State won the meet with a score of 51.
 
• There were 86 competitors in the race, which was an 8k.
 
• The top seven earned First Team All-Little East honors, while runners eight through 14 were tabbed Second Team All-LEC.

• Freshman Jack McEntee (Foster, R.I.) finished 64^th (29:51.28).
 
• Junior Bryan Adams (Warwick, R.I.) finished 65^th (30:07.70).
 
• Sophomore Hussein Niyonkuru (Providence, R.I.) finished 72^nd (30:42.27).
 
• Sophomore Kensley Cadet (Providence, R.I.) finished 79^th (34:43.39).
 
• Freshman Jorge Barragan (Providence, R.I.) finished 81^st (34:54.97).
