Brian Claypool's team wrapped up the 2021 season with a 7-19-1 overall record and a 2-13-1 (ninth place) mark in the Little East.
Senior right fielder
Erica Fluskey (Trumbull, Conn.) wrapped up her career having played in 76 games, starting 68 of them. She batted .383 (75-for-196) with 48 runs scored, 75 hits, 14 doubles, one triple and 36 RBI. Fluskey owned a .464 slugging percentage, a .438 on-base percentage and a .838 fielding percentage.
As a senior in 2021, she played in 22 games, starting 15 of them. Fluskey batted .265 (9-for-34) with five runs scored, nine hits and a pair of RBI. She owned a .265 slugging percentage, a .375 on-base percentage and a .762 fielding percentage.
As a junior in 2020, Fluskey played in eight games, starting all of them. She batted .464 (13-for-28) with seven runs scored, 13 hits, three doubles, seven RBI and one stolen base. Fluskey owned a .571 slugging percentage, a .483 on-base percentage and a 1.000 fielding percentage.
As a sophomore in 2019, Fluskey played in 25 games, starting in 24 of them. She batted .456 (31-for-68) with 17 runs scored, 31 hits, five doubles, one triple and 14 RBI. Fluskey owned a .559 slugging percentage, .493 on-base percentage and .920 fielding percentage.
As a freshman in 2018, Fluskey played in 21 games, starting all of them. She batted .333 (22-for-66) with 19 runs scored, 22 hits, six doubles and 13 RBI. Fluskey owned a .424 slugging percentage, a .397 on-base percentage and an .800 fielding percentage.
She is a film studies major with a minor in film management and a 2017 graduate of Trumbull High School.
Senior first baseman
Amber Wainwright (Taunton, Mass.) wrapped up her Rhode Island College career having played in 66 games, starting all of them. She batted .325 (65-for-200) with 29 runs scored, 65 hits, 14 doubles, one triple, four homers and 51 RBI. She owned a .465 slugging percentage, a .397 on-base percentage and a .988 fielding percentage.
As a senior in 2021, she played in 27 games, starting all of them. Wainwright batted .284 (23-for-81) with 10 runs scored, 23 hits, two doubles, two home runs and 14 RBI. She owned a .383 slugging percentage, a .370 on-base percentage and a .988 fielding percentage.
In 2020, Wainwright played in eight games, starting all of them. She batted .360 (9-for-25) with four runs scored, nine hits, three doubles, one home run and nine RBI. Wainwright owned a .600 slugging percentage, .407 on-base percentage and a 1.000 fielding percentage.
As a junior in 2019, Wainwright played in 31 games, starting all of them. She batted .351 (33-for-94) with 15 runs scored, 33 hits, nine doubles, one triple, one home run and 28 RBI. Wainwright owned a .500 slugging percentage, .419 on-base percentage and .985 fielding percentage.
Prior to coming to RIC, Wainwright played two seasons at St. Joseph's of Brooklyn.
She is a wellness and exercise science major with a minor in coaching and a 2016 graduate of Taunton High School.
Junior outfielder
Reilly Clancey (Narragansett, R.I.) played in 18 games, starting 10 of them. She batted .270 (10-for-37) with five runs scored, 10 hits, one double, one home run and four RBI. Clancey owned a .378 slugging percentage, a .341 on-base percentage and an .813 fielding percentage.
Junior third baseman
Katrina Kazen (Warwick, R.I.) played in 21 games, starting 13 of them. She batted .351 (13-for-37) with six runs scored, 13 hits, four doubles, six RBI and a pair of stolen bases. Kazen owned a .459 slugging percentage, a .500 on-base percentage and an .893 fielding percentage.
Sophomore second baseman
Ashley Armstrong (Warwick, R.I.) played in 24 games, starting 23 of them. She batted .227 (10-for-44) with three runs scored, 10 hits, two doubles, three RBI and one stolen base. Armstrong owned a .273 slugging percentage, a .271 on-base percentage and a .939 fielding percentage.
Sophomore catcher
Alexis Boyce (Wolcott, Conn.) played in 25 games, starting 22 of them. She batted .313 (20-for-64) with 13 runs scored, 20 hits, six doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI and one stolen base. Boyce owned a .500 slugging percentage, a .392 on-base percentage and a .944 fielding percentage.
Sophomore shortstop
Alexis LeBelle (Warwick, R.I.) played in 18 games, starting 16 of them. She batted .286 (12-for-42) with seven runs scored, 12 hits, four doubles, four RBI and three stolen bases. LeBelle owned a .381 slugging percentage, a .418 on-base percentage and a .942 fielding percentage.
Sophomore outfielder
Shannon McDonald (Saunderstown, R.I.) played in 18 games. She batted .333 (1-for-3) with seven runs scored, one hit and one stolen base. McDonald owned a .333 slugging percentage and a .500 on-base percentage.
Sophomore infielder
Callie Rathbun (North Kingstown, R.I.) played in 15 games, starting seven of them. She batted .259 (7-for-27) with six runs scored, seven hits, one double, one triple, five RBI and one stolen base. Rathbun owned a .370 slugging percentage, a .375 on-base percentage and a .857 fielding percentage.
Sophomore infielder
Cassidy Schoen (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) played in 20 games, starting 18 of them. She batted .255 (12-for-47) with six runs scored, 12 hits, three doubles and six RBI. Schoen owned a .319 slugging percentage, a .340 on-base percentage and a .952 fielding percentage.
Sophomore pitcher
Faith Turinese (Plainville, Mass.) played in 22 games, starting 16 of them. She batted .313 (15-for-48) with 14 runs scored, 15 hits, three doubles, one triple, seven RBI and six stolen bases. Turinese owned a .417 slugging percentage, a .358 on-base percentage and a .967 fielding percentage. As a pitcher, she appeared in 14 games, starting three of them. Turinese was 0-4 with an 8.19 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 33.1 innings.
Sophomore left fielder
Julie Vincent (Norwich, Conn.) played in 24 games, starting all of them. Vincent batted .270 (17-for-63) with 12 runs scored, 17 hits, three doubles, eight RBI and two stolen bases. She owned a .317 slugging percentage, a .303 on-base percentage and an .810 fielding percentage.
Freshman designated player
Katelyn Ashe (Colchester, Conn.) was named First Team All-Little East and to the league's All-Rookie Team. She played in 26 games, starting all of them. Ashe batted .349 (29-for-83) with 15 runs scored, 29 hits, eight doubles, one triple, two home runs and 22 RBI. She owned a .542 slugging percentage, a .413 on-base percentage and a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Freshman pitcher/outfielder
Tatiana Burcy (Boston, Mass.) played in 12 games, starting eight of them. She batted .474 (9-for-19) with eight runs scored, nine hits, two doubles, one RBI and one stolen base. Burcy owned a .579 slugging percentage, a .545 on-base percentage and an .851 fielding percentage. As a pitcher, she appeared in 15 games, starting 13 of them. Burcy was 3-7 with a 6.54 ERA and 37 strikeouts in 76.0 innings.
Freshman center fielder
Avery Katz (Brookfield, Conn.) was named Second Team All-Little East and to the league's All-Rookie Team. She played in 26 games, starting all of them. Katz batted .391 (36-for-92) with 19 runs scored, 36 hits, five doubles, five triples, 18 RBI and 14 stolen bases. She owned a .554 slugging percentage, a .440 on-base percentage and a .911 fielding percentage.
Freshman pitcher
Caitlin Lopez (Cranston, R.I.) appeared in 14 games, starting 11 of them. She was 4-8 with a 6.83 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 53.1 innings.
