Newton, Mass.—After being shut out in the club's first two games, Rhode Island College erupted for five markers in a 5-3 win at Lasell on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sophomore defender
Alex Ciotti (North Providence, R.I.) led the way with two goals, while sophomore forward
Julian Orellana (Providence, R.I.) scored once and added a pair of assists.
• Senior defender
Alijah Nunes (Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago) and junior midfielder
Nathan Capelo (Rumford, R.I.) rounded out the goal scorers for the visitors.
• Senior goalkeeper
Elhadji Ndoye (Cranston, R.I.) made six saves to earn his first win of the year (1-1).
• Ciotti put the visitors up by one in the 29
th minute as RIC took a 1-0 advantage into halftime.
• After the Lasers tied it up two minutes into the second half, the Anchormen got goals by Orellana and Ciotti to hold a 3-1 lead.
• RIC allowed the hosts to even the contest up with strikes in the 65
th and 66
th minute, respectively, but Nunes netted what proved to be the game-winner in the 68
th minute to cap a feverish three minutes of offense by both clubs.
