Caitlyn Terceiro (Warren, R.I.) notched her first career hat-trick as Rhode Island College dismantled Dean College, 5-1, in the club's 2026 home opener at Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After recording five shots within the first 14 minutes of action, the Anchorwomen found the back of the net as Terceiro scored on an assist by senior forward
Amber Almeida (Sturbridge, Mass.).

• Freshman midfielder
Isabella DiGioia (West Kingston, R.I.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 37th minute on an assist by sophomore midfielder
Bryn Williams (Hope, R.I.) to make it, 2-0, in favor of the hosts heading into halftime.

• Nine minutes into the second half, the Bulldogs drew a penalty in the box and converted to cut their deficit to just one goal, 2-1. It was Dean's first goal in 580 minutes of action over a seven-game timespan dating back to Oct. 19, 2025.

• That lit a spark under the Anchorwomen as DiGioia found Terceiro for her second of the game with 29 minutes to play.

• The Anchorwomen recorded two more goals, a penalty from Terceiro for the hat-trick, and a first college goal by freshman midfielder
