• Senior right fielder
CJ Almagno (North Providence, R.I.) notched a sacrifice flyout in the first, which gave RIC one of its two runs in the frame to open a 2-0 advantage.

Jake Novak (Plymouth, Mass.) brought in two runs off a single in the third inning to extend the lead for the hosts, 4-0.

• The Anchormen added another in the bottom half of the fourth to make it 5-0 thanks to a sacrifice fly by junior second baseman

George Threats (Cranston, R.I.) smacked an RBI double in the seventh to close out the host's offensive output.
