HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Huskies opened the first 15 minutes of action with 10 goals and held the Anchorwomen without a shot.

• The hosts also were able to hold RIC scoreless for the remainder of the first half and held a very commanding, 16-0, lead heading into the second half.

• USM posted three goals in the third period to push the score to 19-0 before Macaruso slotted home a goal to start the fourth frame.

Kaylee Vieira (East Providence, R.I.) led the squad with three draw controls and one caused turnovers.
• Junior goalkeeper
Giana Franco (Salem, Conn.) got the start in net and made three saves in the loss (1-5).
