George Threats (Cranston, R.I.) went 3-for-3 with two runs scored, an RBI and two walks as Rhode Island College dropped the second game of a twinbill at William Peace, 6-5, in extra innings on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• For the second game in a row, RIC jumped out to a 1-0 advantage in the top of the first as junior second baseman
Aiden Bolwell (Chepachet, R.I.) doubled in Threats.
• WPU scored three unearned runs in the home half of the frame on a bases-clearing double.
• Bolwell brought in a run in the fourth on an RBI fielder's choice and the visitors took the lead, 5-3, with a three-run fifth, which was highlighted by a Threats RBI single.
• The hosts put runs across in the fifth and sixth innings, respectively, and held RIC scoreless for the next four frames before winning in extra innings on an RBI single in the home half of the ninth.
