Daniel Cascio (East Hampton, Conn.) went 1-for-3 with two RBI as Rhode Island College dropped game one of a doubleheader at William Peace, 7-3, on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Cascio gave RIC the advantage with an RBI groundout, plating junior center fielder
Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.), in the top of the first, but the Pacers evened the game in the bottom of the inning, capitalizing on an Anchormen effort.
• WP scored three in the third and one in the fourth to build a 6-1 advantage.
• RIC mounted a comeback in the sixth as freshman shortstop
Ryan O'Leary (Foxboro, Mass.) brought in one with a sacrifice fly and Cascio singled in a run.
