Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) and freshman
Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) were recognized by the Little East for their respective performances at Bryant's Jaylin Rainford Invitational on March 27.
Oliver was named the Little East Women's Track Athlete of the Week. She finished third overall and crushed her old school record in the 10,000m (35:36.40). Oliver now ranks first in the nation (Div. III) in the 10,000m.
Noriega was named the Little East Women's Rookie Track Athlete of the Week. She finished third in the 200m (25.78) and fourth in the 100m (12.72).
The Anchorwomen finished ninth (16 teams) with a team score of 26.33. Bryant won the meet with a score of 205.0.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at Bryant's Ocean State Invitational on Friday and Saturday, April 3-4.
