Cascio Homers as RIC Falls in Game Two vs. Keene State

Providence, R.I.--Senior first baseman Daniel Cascio (East Hampton, Conn.) went 1-for-2 and crushed a homer as the Rhode Island College team fell vs. Keene State, 17-1, in game two of a Little East twinbill at Pontarelli Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Keene State put the game away early, tagging the Anchormen for 13 runs over the first four innings.
 
• Cascio hit a solo blast in the bottom half of the fourth, but stellar pitching from the Owls was the headline. RIC mustered just three hits in the setback.
 
• The visitors combined for four more runs in the fifth and seventh innings to ensure the doubleheader sweep for the weekend.

• Junior starter Jake Foster (Lincoln, R.I.) took the loss (0-1).
