Wheaton Edges the Anchormen, 3-1

Providence, R.I.--Senior right fielder CJ Almagno (North Providence, R.I.) went 1-for-3 with a triple and a walk as Rhode Island College dropped a 3-1 decision vs. Wheaton at Pontarelli Field on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Both starting pitchers for the matchup threw two scoreless innings, The Lyons scored the game's first run on a fielder's choice in the third frame.
 
• Wheaton put two insurance runs across in the fifth inning, which proved to be key to the visitor's win.
