Providence, R.I.—Senior Abigail Bunch (Cartersville, Ga.) tied a career-high on bars, while classmate Liz Shrewsbury (Oklahoma City, Okla.) established a career-best effort on floor, as Rhode Island College defeated Springfield, 190.475-182.375, on Senior Day at The Murray Center on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The club's 190.475 point total was a new season-high and tied for the seventh-highest score in program history.
 
• Shrewsbury and Bunch, along with their families, were honored as part of Senior Day following the match.
 
• Bunch tied her career-high and took home first place on bars (9.500), while also placing third on beam (9.550). She also received the Bob Nannig Optimist Award for her contributions to RIC women's gymnastics following the meet.
 
• Shrewsbury won on floor with a career-best effort (9.825).
 
• The Anchorwomen took home first place on every event, including a three-way tie (9.650) on vault by freshman Mila Beckom (Las Vegas, Nevada), sophomore Molly Pompeii (Apalachin, N.Y.) and junior Payton Greene (Mannford, Okla.).
 
• Sophomore Aaliyah Krause (Milwaukee, Wis.) finished first in the all-around (38.225). Krause finished fourth on vault (9.575), second on bars (9.250), tied for first on beam (9.650) and second on floor (9.750).
 
• Sophomore Dominique Harris (Port St. Lucie, Fla.) tied for first on beam (9.650).
 
• Greene finished second in the all-around (37.925) with a first place tie on vault (9.650), fifth on bars (9.100), fifth on beam (9.450) and third on floor (9.725).
