Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College has named Alison Kleinebreil '22 as an assistant women's gymnastics coach.

"Her knowledge of our program and what it means to be part of RIC Gymnastics will be a great addition to our team. The Attleboro, Mass. native has served as a coach at Butler Gymnastics for 10 years, where she guided gymnasts of all ages and abilities and was responsible for choreographing floor routines.
Kleinebreil spent three seasons as a RIC gymnast. As a senior in 2021-22, Kleinebreil was named an All-American in Academics by the NCGA. She averaged scores of 9.300 on vault, 8.975 on beam and 9.131 on floor. She registered a season-high score of 9.375 on vault against Cortland on March 6. She posted a season-high score of 9.150 on beam at Brown on Feb. 20. She established a season-best score of 9.550 on floor at Springfield on Feb. 27.
As a junior in 2019-20, Kleinebreil averaged scores of 8.455 on beam and 9.058 on floor for the season. She registered a season-high score of 9.000 on beam at Southern Connecticut on Feb. 29. Kleinebreil posted a season-best score of 9.300 on floor at the Brown Tri on Mar. 8.
As a sophomore in 2018-19, Kleinebreil averaged scores of 9.020 on vault, 8.060 on beam and 9.375 on floor. She posted a season-high score of 9.300 on vault at the Brown Tri on Feb. 10. Kleinebreil posted season-best marks of 9.275 on beam and 9.375 on floor vs. Springfield on March 3.
She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education from Rhode Island College in 2022.
In addition to her coaching duties, Kleinebreil is an inclusion specialist at Studley Elementary School in Attleboro.
