HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sophomore midfielder Sarah Pimentel (Cranston, R.I.) was the first to strike as she put the Anchorwomen ahead, 1-0, in the 10th minute of action.

• Not long later, in the 14th minute, the hosts put in the game-tying goal.

• Freshman midfielder Isabella DiGioia (West Kingston, R.I.) found senior defender Leah Saunders (Smithfield, R.I.) in the 48th minute, which put RIC up, 2-1, to start the second half.

• DiGioia took it upon herself to score nearly a minute later, which gave the visitors a two-goal lead, 3-1, much of the second half left to play.

• The Corsairs bounced back, with two goals in the 55th and 58th minutes, respectively, to level the game up at three.

• It came down to the wire, but it was Cost who scored her second game-winner of the season in the 85th minute as RIC improved to 3-1 in the Little East.

• Senior goalkeeper Nicole Nunes (Smithfield, R.I.) made one save in the win (8-4).
