• Sophomore midfielder Sarah Pimentel (Cranston, R.I.) and senior forward Amber Almeida (Sturbridge, Mass.) both registered shots in the first half, but the visitors were not able to find the net as the match went into the half all-square at zero.

• RIC and KSC combined for 14 fouls in the second half, seven, respectively, from both sides, but still neither team found a good enough chance of free kick opportunities.

• Pimentel had one of the last shots of the game, which was on target in the 87th minute, but it was turned away by the Owls as both teams notched a shutout.
