Judges Down Anchorwomen, 2-0

Providence, R.I.—Freshman goalkeeper Oceanna Orlandi (East Greenwich, R.I.) made five saves as Rhode Island College was shut out by Brandeis, 2-0, at Gordon Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Orlandi made three quick saves in the opening five minutes before RIC recorded three quick shots of its own, but all of the attempts were off the mark.
 
• With just less than three minutes to play in the first half, the Judges broke the scoring open and would hold a 1-0 lead at halftime.
 
• A foul from RIC in the 52nd minute would give the hosts a free kick, which they capitalized on to take a 2-0 lead with 37 minutes to play.
 
• The Judges held the Anchorwomen to just two shots in second half and would remain undefeated after the win.
 
• Orlandi was handed the loss (2-2). Sophomore midfielder Hannah Rezendes (Bristol, R.I.) garnered the only shot on net for the visitors in the game.

In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will play at Curry on Wednesday, Sept. 10 (7 p.m.).
