HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchorwomen set the tone in the first half as they outshot the Colonels 6-2, but would come up empty on the scoreboard as the two teams went into halftime in a 0-0 deadlock.

• Junior forward Amber Almeida (Sturbridge, Mass.) connected with senior forward Tayshia Cary (Wakefield, R.I.) for the game's first score a mere 42 seconds into the second half.

• Then, in the 60th minute, Johnson-Hoffman scored her first of the season from nearly 40 yards out to give the Anchorwomen some breathing room.

• Sophomore forward/midfielder Caitlyn Terceiro (Warren, R.I.) would eventually score her first career goal just after the 70th minute to put the game well out of reach for the hosts.

• Johnson-Hoffman wasn't done yet as she scored her second goal on a pass from Terceiro.

• Junior goalkeeper Nicole Nunes (Smithfield, R.I.) made just one save to register the win (1-0).
