Trinity Hayes (Providence, R.I.) won the 100m (12.34) and the 200m (25.05) as the Rhode Island College women's track and field team competed at Southern New Hampshire's Ed Daniels Invitational on Monday.

• The Anchorwomen finished fourth (15 teams) with a team score of 59.0. Saint Anslem finished first with a team score of 152.5.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Junior
Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) won the 1,500m (4:49.61) and finished third in the 800m (2:22.30).

Samantha Sainristil (Cranston, R.I.) finished third in both the shot (11.79m) and the hammer (47.30) and placed fifth in the discus (36.55m).

Bethanie Jean-Philippe (Cranston, R.I.) finished fifth in the javelin (34.90m).

Taryn Reed (Pascoag, R.I.) qualified for the N.E. Championship with a seventh place finish in the hammer (41.68m).
