Myrtle Beach, S.C.--Sophomore second baseman Parker Camelo (Bristol, R.I.) went 2-for-3 with two home runs as Rhode Island College fell, 7-5, vs. Wittenberg at Crosley Field at the Ripken Experience on Saturday afternoon.

Rhode Island College (2-2)
Wittenberg (5-2)

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Anchormen started with an RBI walk from senior catcher Lucas Pierce (Chepachet, R.I.) and a sacrifice fly by fifth-year shortstop Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) as part of a two-run bottom of the first.

• Wittenberg knocked in a pair of runs in the third to lead, 3-2, before Rivera tied the game with a solo shot in the home half of the frame.

• Both teams' pitching dominated the fourth through the sixth innings until Wittenberg took a two-run lead in the seventh on a pair of Anchormen errors.

• Camelo would homer in the bottom of the seventh to cut the deficit down to one, but back-to-back long balls by the Tigers in the ninth proved to be the difference.

• Camelo hit a solo shot in the bottom of the ninth.

• Fifth-year starter Samuel Gray (Rockland, Mass.) struck out five in six innings of work (0-2).
