• The Anchormen started with an RBI walk from senior catcher
Lucas Pierce (Chepachet, R.I.) and a sacrifice fly by fifth-year shortstop
Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) as part of a two-run bottom of the first.

• Wittenberg knocked in a pair of runs in the third to lead, 3-2, before Rivera tied the game with a solo shot in the home half of the frame.

• Both teams' pitching dominated the fourth through the sixth innings until Wittenberg took a two-run lead in the seventh on a pair of Anchormen errors.
