Boston, Mass.--Senior Samantha Sainristil (Cranston, R.I.) earned All-NEICAAA honors with a second place finish in the weight throw (17.09m) as Rhode Island College finished the first day of action at the 2025 NEICAAA Women's Track and Field Championship, held at The Reggie Lewis Center on Friday afternoon.
 
THE BASICS
• The Anchorwomen are currently in eighth place (17 teams) with a team score of 8.0. The University of New Hampshire is in first place with a team score of 51.0.

• Freshman Quiana Pezza (Cranston, R.I.) finished 20^th in the long jump (5.01m).
