Haley Oliver (Coventry, R.I.) qualified for the N.E. Div. III Championships in the 10,000m as she finished fifth (36:40.50) as the Rhode Island College women's track and field team opened up the first day of competition at Bryant's Black and Gold Invitational on Friday afternoon.

• Oliver's time in the 10,000m currently ranks her third in the country (Div. III).

th (43.70m). She also finished 27
th in the discus (29.27m).
