Izaiah Rivera Goes 4-for-4 With Two RBI in, 11-2, Loss at Bridgewater State

Bridgewater, Mass.--Fifth-year shortstop Izaiah Rivera (Pawtucket, R.I.) went 4-for-4 with a pair of RBI as Rhode Island College lost, 11-2, at Bridgewater State on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Rivera, who was coming off hitting for the cycle last time out, opened up the game in the second inning with an RBI double to put the visitors on top, 1-0.
 
• After getting just one hit in the first three innings, the Bears applied the pressure with back-to-back five-run innings in the fourth and fifth.
 
• Rivera would then put the Anchormen on the board again in the top of the sixth frame, singling up the middle as senior catcher Lucas Pierce (Chepachet, R.I.) came to the plate.
 
• Rivera had four of the team's eight hits on the day.

• Fifth-year pitcher Samuel Gray (Rockland, Mass.) was handed the loss (0-4), striking out six in four innings
