Providence, R.I.—Fifth-year forward
Ousmane Kourouma (Woonsocket, R.I.) finished with 14 points and a game-high 18 rebounds as Rhode Island College fell, 77-68, vs. UMass Dartmouth in Little East action played at The Murray Center on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• A Kourouma layup 1:31 into the game gave the hosts the lead, 4-2, and the Anchormen would not trail for the remainder of the first half.
• Senior guard
Dwayne Robinson-O'Hagan (Woonsocket, R.I.) converted a layup with 6:19 left in the half as RIC built an 11-point, 32-21, advantage.
• Junior guard
Isaiah Dahl (Cornelius, Ore.) nailed a three-pointer as time expired to give RIC a 38-29 advantage at halftime.
• RIC held the lead until the 12:50 mark of the second half when UMD took its first lead, 47-46, of the game.
• The Anchormen were up by five, 54-49, with 9:27 left before the Corsairs outscored the Anchormen, 24-18, over the remainder of the contest to hand RIC its third straight Little East setback.
• Sophomore forward
Xavier Mendez (Pawtucket, R.I.) finished with 15 points and four rebounds. Dahl (14) and Robinson-O'Hagan (12) also cracked double figures in scoring.
