Providence, R.I.—Junior
Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) earned First Team All-Little East Honors by winning the weight throw (16.51m) as Rhode Island College competed at the 2025 Little East Indoor Championship held at the Providence Career and Technical Academy on Saturday afternoon.
THE BASICS
• Rhode Island College finished sixth (nine teams) with a team score of 51.0. Southern Maine won the title with a team score of 148.0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Sophomore
Enrique Edjang (Providence R.I.) earned Second Team All-Little East honors and to the Little East All-Rookie Team with a second place finish in the weight throw (15.40m).
• Sophomore
Gabriel Dosunmu (Providence, R.I.) earned Third Team All-Little East honors with a third place finish the long jump (7.07m;
new program record) and also placed fifth in the 4x200m relay (1:34.54).
• Senior
Garrett Jones (Beacon Falls, Conn.) finished fourth in the triple jump (13.54) and seventh in the long jump (6.39m).
• Sophomore
Andrew Frezza (Johnston, R.I.) finished fourth in the 5,000m (15:32.40;
new program record) and seventh in the 3,000m (9.19.92).

Will Schiller (Smithfield, R.I.) finished fourth in both the 400m (51.47) and 4x400m relay (3:35.53) and fifth in the 4x200m relay (1:34.54).

Brody Shiels (Wakefield, R.I.) finished fourth in the 4x400m relay (3:35.53) and 10
th in the 600m (1:28.49).

Isiah Briggs (Providence, R.I.) finished fourth in the 4x400m relay (3:35.53), fifth in the 4x200m relay (1:34.54) and 10
th in the long jump (6.14m).

Nick Lamoureux (North Smithfield, R.I.) finished fourth in the 4x400m relay (3:35.53), fifth in the 4x200m relay (1:34.54) and 12
th in the high jump (1.75m).
• Junior
Izaiah Karweh (Providence, R.I.) finished fifth in the 60m (7.14) and ninth in the high jump (1.85m).
• Freshman
Owen Schenck (Warren, R.I.) was named to the Little East All-Rookie Team with a fifth place finish in the mile (4:26.39). He also placed sixth in the 4x800m relay (8:36.81) and seventh in the 800m (2:04.81).

Shamus Culhane (North Kingstown, R.I.) finished fifth in the weight throw (14.46m).

Benjamin Lockwood (Saunderstown, R.I.) finished sixth in both the 1,000m (2:39.34) and the 4x800m relay (8:36.81).

Scott Pakenham (Portsmouth, R.I.) finished sixth in both the 800m (2:04.23) and the 4x800m relay (8:36.81).

Giovani Monteiro (North Providence, R.I.) finished sixth in the 4x800m relay (8:36.81) and eighth in the 600m (1:27.55).
