Providence, R.I.—Two Rhode Island College Anchormen were named All-Region by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for their respective performances during the 2025 outdoor track and field season.
Junior
Loudon Chupas (Colchester, Conn.) was named All-Region in both the javelin and the high jump. Chupas finished 10
th in the high jump (1.90m) and 11
th in the javelin (56.74m) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 2-3. He earned Second Team All Little East honors with a second place finish in the javelin (49.74m) and earned Third Team All Little East honors with a third place finish in the high jump (1.90m) at the Little East Championship on April 27.
Junior
Brandon Mota (West Warwick, R.I.) was named All-Region in the hammer. Mota earned All-New England honors with a fourth place finish in the hammer (52.00m) and finished 13
th in the discus (42.91m) at the N.E. Div. III Championship on May 2-3. He earned First Team All Little East honors with a first place finish in the hammer (50.66m) and earned Third Team All Little East honors with a third place finish in the discus (44.11m) at the Little East Championship on April 27.
