• In the 34th minute, Salome scored her first of the game as RIC extended the lead to two. Junior forward
Tayshia Cary (Wakefield, R.I.) tallied two assists on the day, both of which contributed to Salome's goals.

Karen Johnson-Hoffman (Groton, Conn.) put in stellar defensive performances in the victory, limiting the Panthers to six shots on goal as RIC notched its fifth shutout win of the season.
