Rhode Island College 0, Eastern Connecticut 0
Rhode Island College 6-4-1 (1-1-1 LEC)
Eastern Connecticut 2-6-2 (0-1-2 LEC)

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Warriors seemed to be the aggressors early on, as two shots were missed wide in the first five minutes.

• RIC's first shot came from senior midfielder Marissa Ruzzano (Smithfield, R.I.) in the 44th minute, but was easily handled by Warrior freshman goalkeeper Alex Ignatowicz (Coventry, Conn.).

• Junior defender Karen Johnson-Hoffman (Groton, Conn.) and sophomore defender Grace Aukerman (Ashford, Conn.) limited the Warriors to a mere three shots on goal all game.

• Sophomore forward Amber Almeida (Sturbridge, Mass.) nearly had the go-ahead chance in the 86th  minute when a one-on-one chance against Ignatowicz at the top of the box was snuffed out by the ECSU keeper.

• Angelone picked up the tie (4-4-1).
