Elijah Gouin (Glocester, R.I.) was named the Little East Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance in a 2-0 week for the Anchormen.
Gouin won his first career match at No. 2 singles with a shutout (6-0, 6-0) and paired with classmate
Zach Siemmao (Wakefield, R.I.) for an 8-1 win at second doubles in an 8-1 win over Curry on April 22. After dropping the first set, Gouin came from behind to win (2-6, 6-0, 6-2) at No. 3 singles to clinch a 6-3 victory over Western Connecticut on April 24. He also paired with classmate
Noah Morin (Smithfield, R.I.) for an 8-0 win at second doubles.
For the season, Gouin is 10-0 in singles and 9-1 in doubles action.

Adam Spring's team is 8-2 overall and 5-1 (second place) in the Little East.
In upcoming action, No. 2-seeded Rhode Island College will host the winner of No. 6 VTSU Castleton and No. 3 Western Connecticut in the semifinals of the 2024 Little East Men's Tennis Championship on Thursday, May 2 (3:30 p.m.).
