HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Corsairs stormed out to an early 3-1 lead in the first inning. The hosts would also hit a solo home run in the third to boost their lead to 4-1.

• The Anchormen would have an offensive explosion in the sixth inning with a five-run outburst. Four different Anchormen would record RBI in the inning to give RIC a 7-4 lead.

• UMass Dartmouth would respond immediately in the bottom half of the inning, scoring four runs to recapture an 8-7 lead, which they would not relinquish for the remainder of the contest.
