Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored as Rhode Island College lost, 21-10, vs. Southern Maine in Little East Action played at Pontarelli Field on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Huskies broke open the game with a 13-run third inning to take a 15-2 lead.
• The Anchormen would try an improbable comeback bid by scoring six unanswered runs, but Southern Maine would score seven additional runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to enact the 10-run rule and end the game early.

Lucas McElroy (Westport, Mass.) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a triple. Senior designated hitter
Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) went 2-for-5 and scored a pair of runs.

Liam Dailey (Franklin, Mass.) took the loss (2-1).
