Providence, R.I.—Rhode Island College saw its seven-game win streak come to an end as the Anchormen dropped game two of a Little East doubleheader, 4-3, vs. Keene State at Pontarelli Field on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Senior designated hitter
Cole Podedworny (Wakefield, R.I.) staked the Anchormen to a 2-0 advantage in the bottom of the first with a two-run blast.
• Keene State plated runs in the second and fifth innings to tie the game, 2-2.
• Junior catcher
Lucas Pierce (Chepachet, R.I.) drew a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the fifth to put the hosts on top by a run, 3-2.
• Keene State tied the game in the seventh and went ahead, 4-3, in the eighth.
• Podedworny notched a two-out infield hit in the bottom of the ninth, but Keene State sophomore reliever
David Floyd (Attleboro, Mass.) closed the door to earn his first win (1-3) of the season. Floyd allowed just one hit and walked two, to go along with seven strikeouts, in 4.2 innings of scoreless relief.

Sammy Belboder (Providence, R.I.) took the loss (0-1).
• Junior first baseman
Daniel Trzepacz (Mont Vernon, N.H.) went 2-for-5 with two runs scored. Podedworny also went 2-for-5 with a run scored and two RBI.
