• Sophomore midfielder
Claire Greene (Storrs, Conn.), who was playing her first game since rejoining the club following the end of women's basketball, set up Rosales just 29 seconds into the game.
• SSU sophomore midfielder
Aislinn Bennet (Milford, Mass.) tied the game up, 1-1, 29 seconds later and the game remained deadlocked until Rosales scored with 3:33 left in the first quarter.
• The visitors rattled off the next 12 goals and RIC would be held off the scoreboard until the final 2:24 of the contest when junior midfielder
Hannah Marley (Tiverton, R.I.) capped the game's offensive output with an unassisted strike.
• Salem State freshman goalkeeper
Nora Bradley (Haddon Township, N.J.) made 11 saves in the win (1-5).
• Bennett had four goals, one assist, seven ground balls, five draw controls and four caused turnovers.
• RIC freshman attacker
Sophie DeFlitch (Hummelstown, Pa.) racked up seven ground balls and five caused turnovers. Greene won five draws.
